The themes for the wedding were long decided by the couple, and they planned a traditional South-Indian ceremony for their D-day. The wedding had South Indian vegetarian food for the guests and live Carnatic music to create unforgettable moments. There were live singers next to the mandap, who sang while the Telegu ceremony was going on, and at key points in the ceremony, the musicians played instruments. Also, even before the couple arrived, next to the mandap, on both sides, there were musicians seated playing Carnatic versions of popular Bollywood songs.
