Guide to throwing the perfect bridal shower for your bestie

Your BFF will remember this one *Forever*

Bachelorette parties are popular, but if you need another cause to celebrate your best friend (the bride-to-be), throw her a bridal shower!  The bridal shower is a gathering of female family members and friends to congratulate the bride-to-be and assist her in preparing for married life. It's a chance for the woman of the hour to spend quality time with the most significant women in her life and plan for her future as a newlywed.  The shower is filled with wonderful décor, gifts, games, and, quite frankly, everything else the bride desires!

Here are all the tips you'll need for throwing your bestie the perfect bridal shower:

- Establish a budget
The first step in organising the bridal shower involves creating a budget for the entire event. Food, drinks, decorations, venue, rentals, photography, videography, and any other vendors or fees are all included. These costs are covered by the person throwing the bridal shower; however, bridesmaids or family members could be willing to help. Your budget also depends on the kind of shower the bride -to-be wants . Whether it’s a low-key affair at home or an elaborate evening at a location.

- Decide on a Date
Consult with the bride to set a date that is convenient for both parties and fits within the wedding timeframe. Aim for at least a few months before the wedding. Keep in mind other wedding festivities, such as the bachelor/bachelorette party, which some couples schedule for the evening of the shower day.

- Make a guest list and send out invitations
Get the bride's must-invite list and work with it as you compile the whole party guest list. Before you send out invitations, have the bride double-check and approve the list. Give people as much prior notice as possible so that they can make it to the shower and buy gifts. This should be done four to six weeks before the shower date, which means you should begin looking for and ordering invites at least a few weeks beforehand. (Sending E-vites is also great if you want to avoid the hassle of Traditional paper invites) Include a line on the RSVPs for guests to mention any dietary restrictions.

- Decide on a Location
The host will frequently offer their home to host the bridal shower. You can also choose a theme-related venue, such as a spa or a winery; a restaurant or hotel; or rent an Airbnb if you're looking for a weekend getaway for an extended party. It all depends on whether the bride wants the shower to be low-key or extravagant. It is best to reserve the area well in advance.

- Plan the Menu
The food served will be based on the theme of the shower and the time of day.  Throwing a brunch party? Serve mimosas and breakfast items. Whatever cuisine you choose, make it something you know the bride will enjoy and include options for any food restrictions guests indicate on their RSVPs.

-Décor
If you've hired an event planner, this will be a breeze. If you're doing your own decorations, this is one of the most enjoyable aspects of putting together the bridal shower. Consider what kinds of personal touches you can include for the bride, whether you're following a theme or not. We adore gorgeous floral and balloon installations, as well as a photo-worthy backdrop. Photo booths are pretty in right now too!

- Plan Activities and Games
When guests first arrive, games are a terrific way to break the ice, especially if they are unfamiliar with each other. Several traditional shower games require no purchase—just a little creativity! There are also plenty of fun shower games available online if your budget allows.

- Make a Playlist
Music can make or break a party. So, get everyone in the mood with some entertaining music and a fire playlist. Ask the bride for her must-have favourites, and mix in a few love songs and groovy tunes for everyone to dance to!
