Some key details that you need to tick off.

A decorator, DJ, caterer, make-up artist, hair stylist, and designer, weddings are all about choosing the right people for the right role. Amongst these many selections, selecting your bridesmaids is one of the most important choices that you’ll make for the biggest and most special day of your life. To ensure that you make the best decision, as you’ll have a lot of things to ask them, we’ve made things easy for you with a questionnaire that covers a host of topics—their budget, what they would wear, colour preferences, their schedule, and availability, amongst others. It’ll just help the bride get a much better understanding of what each of her bridesmaids wants and be in a much better position to tackle any problems should they arise.

Budget and finances

While it may be uncomfortable for you to discuss expenses with your bride squad, it’s a question that needs to be asked. It’s time to get them in the hot seat and have the answers to the questions below.

What's your ideal budget?

How comfortable are you spending on your bridesmaid dress?

Do you have any budget constraints I should be aware of?

Are you willing to pay for hair and make-up services on the wedding day?

How much are you willing to spend on the bachelorette party/bridal shower/any other function?

Clothing and style preferences

It’s not just you, but your bridesmaids who need to look their best on your special day. This is why, it’s important to know their clothing and shoe sizes. Do your best to ensure that you provide a space to your bride squad where they can address their style, fashion, and make-up queries.

What is your dress and shoe size?

What colour do you love wearing? What don't you like wearing?

Is there a particular style that you like?

How would you like to have your hair and make-up done?

Will you be doing your own hair and make-up or want to have someone do it?

Logistical preferences and availability

As a bride-to-be, juggling your own appointments and schedule is super tough. And if that isn’t enough, you have to factor in the availability of your bridesmaids as well. Having them tell you their schedule makes it easier to plan and know when everyone is free. This way, you can schedule a trip to try out wedding dresses, go for fittings, and plan that much-awaited bachelorette.

Do you have any bachelorette party location ideas or preferences?

What activities do you like to do?

Do you prefer a hotel or a house?

How many nights should the bachelorette last?

What is your schedule in the months leading to the wedding?

Are you available to help with planning and fittings?

Will there be any events that you won't be able to attend?
