‘Made in Heaven’ actor Arjun Mathur ties the knot with girlfriend Tiya Tejpal
The actor took to social media to announce their intimate wedding ceremony.
After playing a wedding planner in the popular Amazon Prime show Made in Heaven, actor Arjun Mathur experienced his own special day, tying the knot with his long-time girlfriend Tiya Tejpal on October 9. A photo of the couple's intimate wedding was doing the rounds on Reddit, post which the actor confirmed the news on his Instagram.
The wedding photo, taken at the mandap, sees Mathur and his bride beaming with joy. He captioned the photo, “T and A—09.10.2024.” The pair look adorable with the marigold flower decor in the background. Tejpal is seen wearing an orange and red sari with a half-up hairdo and minimal make-up, while Mathur wore a matching kurta set. The couple seemingly had an intimate ceremony with just family and close friends in attendance.
Known for playing Karan Mehra on Prime Video’s Made in Heaven, Mathur has also starred in a host of films such as including My Name Is Khan, Luck By Chance, and The Accidental Prime Minister, to name a few. His wife, Tiya Tejpal, daughter of journalist Tarun Tejpal, is a production designer who has worked on projects such as The White Tiger, Raman Raghav 2.0, and Karwaan. She also worked as an assistant director on Life of Pi before making a move to production design.
