Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani’s wedding, the first celebrity union of the year, gave us many moodboards and adorable moments. The pair embarked on a new chapter of their life donning Tarun Tahiliani ensembles against a stunning beach backdrop in Goa. The decor by Interflora—the official design and floral partner for the wedding—added a character to the celebrations.

Here are glimpses of the decor at Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani's wedding ceremonies.

A pool party for haldi ceremony

At the tropical pool party, every detail exuded seaside charm. The venue dazzled in mint green, white, and nautical prints. Cute unicorn inflatables dotted the pool, while pink pastel balloons added whimsy. The centerpiece—featuring pineapples, coconuts, and a vibrant array of colours—was a feast for the eyes.

As far as the haldi stage was concerned, the entire baithak was draped in a yellow flower canopy. The air was filled with the sweet fragrance of flowers, creating an enchanting ambience.

‘The Magical Forest’-themed mehendi

The colorful mehendi function was a vibrant spectacle with shades of pink, orange, and yellow dancing in the air. Guests were greeted with enormous shola flower hangings at the entrance, leading them into a lively bazaar-style set-up, which featured bangle and bindi corners, along with refreshments stall offering tantalising treats like fruit chaat and coconut water.

The best part of this setting was the canopies of trees made by Interflora, that acted as a shed. Aptly named the ‘Magical Forest’, a central canopy adorned with bright flowers became the throne for the bride, who was surrounded by her bridesmaids. The delicate organza flowers in lilacs and pinks added a touch of whimsy.

The wedding was a serene moment

The pheras, held at ITC Grand, Goa, was a heartfelt experience, radiating the couple's love in a surreal setting. Singh's graceful entrance down the aisle, adorned in blush, perfectly matched the soft pink hues of the mandap. Moss and greens in white marble urns were eye-catching. The mandap, adorned with cascading blooms and lush floral arrangements, retained a refined simplicity, with the beach sunset providing a breathtaking backdrop.

The sun dipping below the horizon and casting hues of gold and pink in the sky created a truly unforgettable moment. The stunning floral display in pink hues along the 250 sq ft aisle, was enhanced by a delicate white carpet below. The setting was romantic and charming.

An intimate reception

The reception unfolded as an intimate family affair following three days of festivities, with Rakul and Jackky playing guests of honour at the Afghan Lawns. Nestled by the sea, the venue provided a tranquil backdrop, where the gentle breeze set a serene atmosphere.

Each dining table centerpiece radiated pink and peach hues, adding a romantic touch to the evening. A family dining hall, nestled in the lawn, blended rustic chic wooden elements with crystalline pinks for timeless elegance. With live music enhancing the ambience, the reception transformed into a mellow lawn event, a sweet celebration shared with family and friends of the newlyweds.
