Manish Malhotra's glamorous pre-wedding ensembles for Radhika Merchant

The pre-wedding function of Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani in Jamnagar turned into a star-studded affair as renowned personalities from Bollywood and other prominent faces from the business world were in attendance. Among the highlights of the event was a captivating performance by pop sensation, Rihanna and the charismatic Diljit Dosanjh, which left the guests enthralled.

For Mela Rouge, the second day of the three-day event, Manish Malhotra created a custom-made vintage-inspired corset blouse and golden lehenga, which included a drape woven with metallic threads and 20,000 Swarovski crystal embellishments, meticulously crafted by 70 artisans. The result was nothing short of spectacular; the bride-to-be exuded an aura of timeless elegance and unmatched grandeur. With intricate embellishments, exquisite embroidery, and luxurious fabrics, the ensemble was a true masterpiece that captured the essence of Radhika’s beauty and grace.

Merchant's second outfit on the same day was a stunning Manish Malhotra metallic blue lehenga embellished with gold and silver floral motifs alongside Swarovski crystals. The diamond-cutwork blouse was adorned with crystals, which were crafted over 5,700 hours and over 3,00,000 globally sourced crystals were used to culminate the outfit. Merchant’s choice is a testament to the designer’s meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to perfection. 

The word 'glamorous' perfectly encapsulates the essence of these two exquisite ensembles, which radiated opulence, sophistication, and sheer beauty. Few designers can match the level of glamour and allure that Manish Malhotra effortlessly infuses in his creations.
