Disha Parmar's Makeup Artist Decodes the Actor's Stunning Bridal Look
Obsessed with Disha's glowing wedding makeup? Here's a step-by-step guide to cop the look.
Four days ago, singer Rahul Vaidya and actor Disha Parmar tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai. And while Disha's bridal ensembles, including her gorgeous Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla wedding lehenga and Seema Gujral and Dolly J outfits, have been doing rounds on the internet, her dreamy wedding makeup has also become the talk of the town.
Brides Today spoke to the actor's makeup artist, Shradha Luthra, who gives you a breakdown of Disha's stunning makeup—her vision, the creative process, and the products you can use to recreate the 5-step look!
"Disha completely trusted me with her bridal look and decided to leave it all up to me until the big day. Since she appreciated the simplicity and minimalism of my makeup, I chose to give her a soft, glowing look that would complement her blazing red ensemble. We skipped the smokey eye and went for a softer, more demure feel," explains Shradha.
Step 1: Prep and Prime
"To prep her skin, I used the Guerlain Lor Radiance Concentrate Primer (Rs. 6,275; available on Nykaa). The primer not only adds a glow to your face but the real gold flakes prep the skin well, allowing the make-up to sit for prolonged periods of time."
Step 2: Foundation
"I wanted to keep the base super-light, but also wanted flushed cheeks and radiant skin. Hence, I opted for the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation (Rs. 4,781 approx)."
Step 3: Eye Shadow and Liner
"Since the overall look was subtle and flushed, we chose to add soft bronze on the eyes. I used the Natasha Denona Metropolis Eyeshadow Palette (Rs. 9,637 approx) for the lids, along with a glide-on perversion eye pencil from Urban Decay (Rs. 2,384)."
Step 4: Blush and Highlighter
"For flushed cheeks, I mixed a blush from Tarte Cosmetics with the Champagne Pop Highlighter from Becca Cosmetics (Rs. 2,900)."
Step 5: Lipstick
"In an attempt to enhance her natural features, we went for the nude Dior Rouge Forever Liquid Lipstick (Rs. 2,838 approx)."
