At the heart of Twamev's allure lies a commitment to intricate detailing and opulent designs, the brand's meticulous craftsmanship not only reflects the skill of seasoned artisans but also showcases its passion for creating garments that stand as a testament to individuality.
Last month, the luxury brand inaugurated its flagship store in Delhi, thus expanding its retail presence. Spread across an area of 10,000 sq ft, the store was inaugurated by actor Triptii Dimri.
Brides Today spoke to the actor, whose Instagram handle serves as a style mood board for many, and the CEO of Twamev to know about their personal styles, the ethos of brand Twamev, and more.
Brides Today: How does your personal style reflect the roles you choose to portray on screen as discerning women?
Tripti Dimri: As an actor, I choose roles that excite and entertain me, similar to my personal style, which is classic and timeless. I believe in wearing pieces that reflect my personality and make me feel comfortable and confident. I’ve always believed that what you wear should make you feel like your best self, and that’s exactly how I navigate my style.
BT: Does brand Twamev resonate with your personal style?
TD: Absolutely! I think our sense of ideas is very similar. Every piece feels like a beautiful celebration and boasts authenticity, and I think that’s the best and most meaningful relationship one can have with their choice of brand.
BT: What are you wearing and how would you style it to your personal sensibilities?
TD: I’m wearing a gorgeous champagne-gold ensemble that not only makes me look beautiful but also makes me feel beautiful from within. Right from the organza to the pearls, every detail adds so much glamour and value to the attire. It’s already such a special piece, so not much effort will go into styling it differently. With different make-up and accessories, I think one can create a completely new and special look.
BT: You speak of Twamev being steeped in the juxtaposition of the classic and contemporary. How do you bring about a harmonious blend of both?
Raghav Agarwal: With Twamev, the vision has always been to fuse luxe fabrics with classic, timeless silhouettes. It is a distinctive hallmark that underscores our very identity. We incorporate patterns such as paisley motifs, delicate embroidery, and rich textures; ultimately providing our consumers with a touch of opulence with every weave.
BT: You have strategically launched Twamev stores across the country. Who is the Twamev customer and what is your vision to make it a consumer-loved brand?
RA: In steering Twamev's expansion with strategic placement of stores nationwide, our target customer is someone who savours the artful blend of contemporary and classic aesthetics. We aim to make Twamev a beloved brand in Indian households by offering more than just a shopping trip—it's an opportunity to discover your unique style. A brand which is adorned as well as cherished.
BT: How do you intend to keep up with the changing demands of the new-age customers who are focused on sustainability and statement buys?
RA: At Twamev, we firmly advocate for sustainability, recognising its urgency. Our commitment lies in weaving sustainable practices into every aspect of our supply chain, resonating with eco-conscious customers who prioritise environmentally friendly choices. Through our adaptability, dedication to sustainability, and commitment to innovative designs, Twamev is positioned to appeal to contemporary consumers who value both style and ethical principles.
BT: You mention the importance of celebrating cultural identity today as a brand. How does that affect your global plans?
RA: In expanding globally, we are committed to creating collections that resonate with the unique aesthetics and traditions of different regions. At the same time, celebrating one’s cultural identity is a cornerstone of Twamev's brand ethos. Since we collaborate with local artisans, we aim to engage with local communities at large, while also tapping global markets to represent India proudly where culture is honoured in every tapestry.
