Inside Poorna Patel And Namit Soni's Extravagant, Star-Studded Wedding And Reception

Poorna Patel, daughter of former civil aviation minister Praful Patel, tied the knot with Namit Soni, managing director of Namco Industries on Sunday, 21st July. The star-studded wedding and reception was graced by a bevy of Bollywood celebrities in Mumbai including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Mukesh Ambani with daughter Isha Ambani, Katrina Kaif, Sonakshi Sinha, MS Dhoni and wife Sakshi Dhoni, to name a few. The beautiful bride opted for custom-made ensembles by designer Manish Malhotra for both her wedding and reception ceremony. The off-white wedding lehenga with soft pink embroidery and silver zardozi took more than three months to make. The trail of the lehenga had the names of Poorna and Namit embroidered along with holy shlokas and verses, making it a memorable and timeless piece. For the reception night, the bride chose a bold, all-gold outfit and gorgeous diamond jewellery while standing alongside her better half, also in bespoke Manish Malhotra.

Manish Malhotra shared a detailed video of the bride's whimsical, white floral lehenga from her sangeet ceremony. It had beautiful floral embroidery, 3-D embellishments, and delicate sheer fabric set against a dreamy ivory canvas.
