Aishwarya Rai opted for a gorgeous kanjeevaram sari that was created for her by fashion designer Neeta Lulla. The sari featured real gold thread-work, further embellished with elegant crystals. She chose to accessorise this traditional ensemble with polki jewellery, a gold arm-band, gold hair accessories, and fragrant gajra flowers.
Actor Bipasha Basu opted for a traditional red and gold Sabyasachi lehenga. The heavily-embroidered lehenga and blouse featured intricate gold zari work and she paired the Bengali ensemble with kundan jewellery from Jaipur Jewels.

For the Hindu wedding, she wore a red Sabyasachi lehenga that apparently took 110 embroiderers over 3,000 hours to make! She went on to accessorise this ensemble with layered necklaces, a maang tikka, a kamarband, a nath, and earrings.
Did you know that Neha Dhupia's lehenga arrived just 10 hours before her wedding? She opted for a gorgeous pastel pink minimal lehenga by designer Anita Dongre. Crafted using a rich silk fabric, the lehenga featured a combination of age-old Rajasthani embroideries including gota patti, dori, zardozi, and zari. The dupatta had a mint green border and tassel details.
For her intimate wedding with actor Shahid Kapoor, Mira opted for a blush pink Anamika Khanna ensemble. Bidding adieu to the traditional reds, Mira sure made a statement in this pretty-pink lehenga! She accessorised her bridal look with a multi-coloured gemstone necklace (navratan necklace), a maang tikka, pearl earrings, and a traditional passa.
On her royal wedding day, Kareena donned her mother-in-law, Sharmila Tagore's opulent wedding sharara that was refurbished by designer Ritu Kumar. Kareena Kapoor draped the vintage Bhopali joda with a matching dupatta, heavily embroidered in gold. The brocade masterpiece also highlighted intricate zardozi and gota work. The tissue rust-orange kurta and sharara with a contrasting mint green border was further accessorised with traditional wedding jewellery including a choker, earrings, a maang tikka, a hathphool, and a statement passa.
Kajal Aggarwal is an established name in the Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi film industry. She wore an intricately hand-embroidered Anamika Khanna lehenga for her wedding. It was handwoven with intricate zardozi and featured delicate pearl and thread work that created a beautiful floral design. It took 20 craftsmen about a month, working day and night, to create the garment.
Isha Ambani's gorgeous wedding lehenga was curated by designers Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla, featuring 16 hand-embroidered panels. The duo designers also provided a special drape, her mom's 35-year-old bandhini wedding sari!
For her south Indian style wedding, Esha Deol wore a traditional red and orange lehenga-style sari by designer Neeta Lulla. She accessorised the look with gold jewellery; a matha patti, jhumkas, layered necklaces, and a kamarband.
For the Konkani wedding ceremony in Lake Como, honouring south Indian customs and rituals, Deepika was spotted in a traditional red kanjeevaram sari by Bangalore-based Angadi Galleria. Her jewellery comprised of a mathapatti, layered necklaces, and a stack of bangles, all by Sabyasachi.
For the Sindhi-Punjabi ceremony, Deepika chose a traditional red wedding lehenga by designer Sabyasachi. The most spectacular element of the ensemble was the veil which had the incantation, ‘Sada Saubhagyavati Bhava’ (which roughly means ‘may you always stay married’), embroidered on the border. Her jewellery comprised of a maang tikka, a nose ring, multiple rings, and the traditional chooda and wedding kaliras.
Anushka wore a pale pink Sabyasachi lehenga with delicate embroidery in hues of pink, green, and yellow. The lehenga was also embellished with silver-gold metal thread, pearls, and beads. She accessorised her stunning ensemble with an uncut diamond and spinel choker, earrings, and a matha patti from the Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery collection.
