Marking 25 years of the eponymous brand, Payal Singhal brings forth her design aesthetic coupled with Endstate’s innovative technology to produce a limited-edition lifestyle sneaker that effortlessly blends Indian and Western influences. The sneaker draws inspiration from the decorative adornments of ancient tribes. Featuring asymmetrical lacing, laser-etched details, and metal embellishments, the sneakers are available in white/black and silver colourways. Each pair utilises Endstate’s proprietary three-chip technology, making them verifiably authentic and granting owners access to exclusive content, offers, and events. Stephanie Howard, Endstate’s co-founder, who also co-designed the sneaker along with Singhal, has managed to find a rich, creative comfort in the digital environment, to design a shoe with materials that would retain their identity while also being appropriate for mass production.
