Carl F. Bucherer Signs Soccer Star Ricardo Rodríguez As Their Brand Ambassador

The first Carl Friedrich Bucherer boutique was established in 1888, selling watches and jewelry in Lucerne, Switzerland. The internationally-renowned Swiss watchmaker is headed by Jörg G. Bucherer. With a global presence of more than 25 countries, 200 employees worldwide, branches in China, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, and the United States, and a wide range of international distribution partners, a remarkable milestone in the history of the Swiss company was the development of the movement driven by an exterior rotor.

Ricardo Rodríguez has made a difference on the field with his passion, skill, and precision, values that watchmakers hold dear. Great minds think alike, so with the collaboration of Carl F. Bucherer and the Swiss national soccer player they plan to revolutionise the industry.

Ricardo Rodríguez grew up in Zurich. His first professional contract was signed with FC Zürich in 2010 before moving to VfL Wolfsburg in 2012. Being a regular in the Swiss national team since 2011 and, in 2014, he was voted the Swiss player of the year. His talents soon brought him to the attention of Europe’s leading football clubs, and he signed with Italian giants, AC Milan, in 2017.
